Common sense candidate and congressman focuses on stabilizing New Jersey property taxes!
NORTH ARLINGTON – Local Democrats have been busy placing signs on the lawns of committee members and other supporters as the prospect of a Bergen County resident becoming the next governor is within reach.
Congressman Josh Gottheimer (D-5), who represents a large portion of Bergen County is the only county resident seeking the state’s top spot and would be the first Democrat in the modern era to serve from Bergen County.
Local council candidates John Balwierczak and Cengiz Sever have endorsed Gottheimer along with Democratic Municipal Chairman Nick Antonicello and a majority of the local municipal committee.
“Primaries are healthy discussions on the issues. We believe Congressman Gottheimer best represents the values of North Arlington. He is the only candidate in the race focused like a laser on property taxes, always the #1 issue with residents, especially when local Republicans are reassessing homes at a frantic pace. With the massive overdevelopment schemes compounding our community, Josh Gottheimer will be a voice for small and suburban municipalities like NA,” offered Antonicello.
