LACK OF PARKING IS RAMPANT UNDER REPUBLICANS

Massive overdevelopment the source of the problem under Fitzhenry & Sheedy!

Democrats Balwierczak & Yampaglia are committed to a comprehensive Parking & Traffic study to alleviate this ongoing street crisis.

NORTH ARLINGTON – One of the advantages of door to door canvassing is getting the opportunity to speak with residents one-on-one to discuss the issues people really want to talk about.

For Democrats, the issue of parking or lack of it is evident and obvious in almost every segment of North Arlington.

In the case of tenants, the problem is even more severe.

“There are cars parking on lawns. The situation seems out-of-control. We need an understanding of the issue. Increased traffic and the overdevelopment of Ridge Road is playing a factor in this situation,” offered Democrat John Balwierczak, a first-time candidate who has been campaigning since the summer of 2023.

We have heard this complaint over and over again and our opponents have not seriously addressed it. We need outside expertise to evaluate current conditions and a professional assessment is the best course of action.”

Balwierczak is running with John Yampaglia, who served briefly on the North Arlington Planning Board and is a small business owner with a barber shop in Cedar Grove.

“There are issues that can be corrected and this is one of them. There is no excuse for parking on a lawn. Those cars need to be impounded and towed. We should be able to work in a bipartisan way to fix the problem,” offered Yampaglia, the son of retired municipal court judge Emil Yampaglia and the brother of former four-term council member Mark Yampaglia, an attorney with offices on Park Avenue in Rutherford.

Election Day is Tuesday, November 5th.
