Residents not happy with current conditions along Ridge Road!

NORTH ARLINGTON – As the density mounts and the plethora of new construction continues without rhyme or reason, residents are taking to the internet to voice their displeasure with the lack of solutions or suggestions by the all-Republican Mayor & Council.

2025 marks another year of all Republicans, all of the time with a 100% vice-lock on local government.

Is there room for even a single Democrat to watch the store?

Local Democrats responded that voters get who they vote for.

“The policy of massive overdevelopment has a direct correlation to the issue of parking. The Republicans have created this issue,” offered one resident when asked about the growing parking problem.

As seen here, residents spoke out about the fate of the old MELRAYS location as becoming yet another venue for potential housing as we already see more housing now being constructed along Schuyler Avenue.

For the issue of required space or residential site improvement standards (RSIS) that will be required by developers upon the onslaught of even more overdevelopment.

And despite all the online discussion and controversy, is there a single member of the Mayor & Council willing to stand up for taxpayers?
