REPUBLICAN REASSESSMENTS HAVE NA RESIDENTS IN A RAGE!
Softening real estate market has local homeowners questioning all-Republican tax policies as making living in NA a financial burden!
NORTH ARLINGTON – For years the local Republicans have boasted the benefits of rolling assessments as a good idea, but homeowners are finally catching up with the reality that these increasing assessments seem almost random and arbitrary.
For North Arlington is becoming more and more expensive thanks to the Republicans!
Several local homeowners have gone to the internet and social media to complain about it. 
Compounding the problem is the unmitigated local overdevelopment, that has been criticized by the very Republican candidate for governor, Jack Ciattarelli, who has been endorsed by every local Republican, headed by Mayor Dan Pronti, a real estate agent and retired cop.
Why would local Republicans endorse a candidate that opposes their policies of massive suburban overdevelopment?
Hundreds of new apartments have been constructed by Pronti & his rubber stamp council that votes “yes” at every council meeting 100% of the time!
For many, Ridge Road is plagued by a lack of parking while the Mayor & Council and Planning Board are seemingly approving all new construction despite the consequences of this urbanization of North Arlington.
Many residents are complaining about rising reassessments they believe are without rhyme or reason.
Some locals have witnessed a $40,000 property reassessment in just one year! 
The issue of rolling reassessments has been fiercely opposed by Democrats, but voters continue to support one-party control of North Arlington.
Yes, voting in the same people over and over again is destroying grass roots democracy and consolidating power into the hands of a part-time elected official.
