Here are the perks of employment as approved by Mayor Dan Pronti and the all-Republican Mayor & Council:
Current salary: $165,571.24
A guaranteed base salary raise of 3.5%
Medical, dental, disability, life insurance, prescription and eye glass coverage
17-paid vacation days, ability to carry over unused time
Can be absent from the Borough for no more than two weeks
5 personal days, 3 days bereavement
Permitted to attend numerous conventions, conferences and meetings and be reimbursed
4-day work week, he chooses the day he is off from Monday thru Friday
Compensatory time off as Administrator deems appropriate
Residency requirement has been waived
Any suspension is with pay
A lump sum payment of 90 days salary at termination
Full use of an unmarked, borough owned automobile, all expenses paid.
Upon retirement, 5 years of extended health
