BALWIERCZAK: NO REGRETS, WISHES THE WINNERS WELL.
Defeated Democrat describes the campaign as a constructive learning experience, thanks the public for their support.
NORTH ARLINGTON – Unsuccessful Democratic council candidate John Balwierczak wanted to thank the public and the winners for what he described as a “learning experience” in his first bid for public office.
“While winning was the objective, we gave the voters a contrasting view of our community and a different direction for the future. The voters chose the incumbents and I accept those results without hesitation. I want to wish both Brian and Allison a constructive and successful term of office,” offered the Chestnut Street resident.
Balwierczak also thanked his running-mate John Yampaglia for his friendship and hard work.
“The Yampaglia family has offered North Arlington decades of public service and a love for this community. It isn’t easy to run an uphill campaign with the odds against you, but John worked really hard and I could not have had a more graceful individual and gentleman like him as a running-mate.”
“I want to thank the local Democrats, members of the Municipal Committee and Chairman Nick Antonicello for welcoming me and giving me this opportunity to seek public office. I also want to thank my family for all of their support, confidence and good will. I could not have done this without the support of my Mom and sister.”
“This is now a time for reflection. To evaluate the results and move forward. Elections are decisions made by the people, and we offered North Arlington a viable discussion. That is the democratic process. As the holidays now draw near, I want to wish all residents a fantastic Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year.”
