DELUSIONAL DAN!

DELUSIONAL DAN!

WHEN IT COMES TO RAISING TAXES, PRONTI, DEL RUSSO AND DECICCO ARE IN A LEAGUE OF THERE OWN!

REPUBLICAN ROLLING TAX ASSESSMENTS THE ONLY REASON FOR HIGHER TAXES!

PRONTI: WHAT ME WORRY?

North Arlington – In what can only be regarded as a partisan, political mailing compliment of homeowners. real estate agent and retired cop Dan Pronti made some pretty questionable claims about the borough’s finances.

The most reckless being that Municipal Taxes, the portion controlled by the all-Republican Mayor & Council are at “historic lows” when in fact spending and the overall increase in taxes is at record levels!

For Pronti is vague in this political diatribe and self-congratulation, his back must be red from all this self-patting!

Nevertheless, he tries to tie NJ Bail reform with increased spending while not able to explain rising taxes or record spending and appropriations on his watch.

Pronti believes purchasing a $1.5 million-dollar dormant River Road property is an accomplishment, while failing to even mention his pet project of senior housing along River Road.

Another project with no price tag.

There was no mention of some $100,000 in tax refunds due to successful tax appeals of his rolling reassessments by taxpayers or this mysterious $200,000 out-of-court settlement to a former library employee without explanation or reason.

That wasn’t in this deliriously political letter either.

For the propaganda is heavy on the mustard without the hot dog as urbanization, gentrification, massive overdevelopment, increased rental units along Ridge Road and the loss of parking and added congestion has residents wondering just where is North Arlington headed?

And as usual, his obedient followers praise this emperor that has no clothes!

A one-term school trustee and real estate agent who was tossed from office after Republicans even found him so offensive, voted him out!

A MAGA clone who seems to spend his time attacking Democrats for engaging voters and having discussions with residents at the post office where he will routinely troll them in-person and attack them online.

And now sources tell NA Today that Pronti has personally selected the two candidates seeking seats on the North Arlington Board of Education as he tries to exploit the issue of eminent domain seizure for his own political purposes. This is Pronti’s second attempt to toss BOE members who are not puppets of his political regime.

The last time this occurred Pronti supported MAGA worshipping Republicans only to be wiped out at the polls.

The board recently appointed Scott Hughes to a vacancy and he is paired with Michelle Higgins; a longtime trustee comes the fall contest.

Eminent domain seizure is the issue that the challengers will bring front and center.

Others are interested to see if current board trustee George McDermott will support the incumbents as many believe he could become the “swing” vote should the two Pronti puppets are elected come the fall campaign. That would create a new majority and give Pronti complete and total control of North Arlington in every way!

This is a political dictatorship in the making!

And as usual, his eminent domain loving council candidate Kirk Del Russo, more commonly known as Mr. EnCap continues to remain silent along with Pronti’s newest puppet, neophyte RINO Amanda DeCicco.

For here is the truth about NA’s current budget and final condition:

Are municipal taxes in North Arlington at historic lows?

Here’s what the data (and local reporting) reveal about North Arlington:

Municipal Taxes

Are they at historic lows?

No. Recent evidence points to increasing municipal taxes, not historic lows.

Borough officials have previously touted periods where the municipal tax portion for the average homeowner remained flat, including in years like 2022, where the municipal share didn’t change—even though overall taxes (including schools) rose.

However, across the board, property taxes have been climbing steadily in recent years due to property reassessments, increased municipal and school spending, and county/state levies.

Wages & Other Expenses

The cost of living is rising in North Arlington. In 2024, area prices rose roughly 1.5% year-over-year, with increases in transportation, food, and housing.

Cost of living is significantly higher than average:

Roughly 22–41% above the national average, depending on the source.

On wages:

In 2024, New Jersey’s minimum wage was $15.13/hr. There are indications of employers offering even higher starting wages due to inflation and cost pressures. So, in short: expenses are rising faster than wages, though income is climbing modestly.

Police Budget & Staffing

There’s reliable confirmation of increased staffing and promotions:

Two new captains (each earning about $181K) and two new sergeants (about $152K) were appointed recently; the department now includes 34 officers.

That same year saw pay hikes for the mayor, council members, department heads, EMTs, and other personnel

Plans for new public safety infrastructure:

Mayor Pronti announced intentions to build new police and fire stations, though no firm cost or timeline has been released.
