DO AS I SAY, NOT AS I DO!

DO AS I SAY, NOT AS I DO!

WHY IS DAN PRONTI STICKING HIS NOSE INTO THE AFFAIRS OF NEIGHBORING KEARNY WHILE CONDUCTING MASSIVE OVERDEVELOPMENT HERE AT HOME THAT IS RAISING TAXES ONCE AGAIN?

DEL RUSSO AND DECICCO: PUPPETS FOR PRONTI!

NORTH ARLINGTON – Our part-time mayor and real estate agent is at it again.

For why is Republican Mayor Dan Pronti sticking his nose into the internal political affairs of a neighboring community that isn’t part of Bergen County?

A well-run community that is Kearny, that has a popular Mayor in Carol Doyle, a 55-year resident who has served nearly three decades as a council member and now as their chief executive.

For instead of getting involved in the affairs of another able community, maybe he can explain the impending $1 million dollar hole in our 2025-26 Municipal Budget as explained by his fellow Republican, Councilman Mario Karcic?

You think that might be on his mind?

For what Democrat will Pronti blame this time?

Barack Obama?

Bill Clinton?

In a community where one person rules the roost and two-party governance does not exist, is he so arrogant to believe a single Kearny voter really cares what this Bayonne transplant thinks?

Why doesn’t he explain his obsession with the unbridled construction of apartments along Ridge Road that are actually raising taxes along with his belief that unfair, unequitable, and random property tax assessments make sense to anyone except him?

Why doesn’t he explain that dilapidated political clubhouse on Ridge Road, an eyesore by any standard and do Republicans pay rent for that space?

What is most ironic is that Kearny Republicans along with GOP gubernatorial nominee Jack Ciattarelli are OPPOSED to massive overdevelopment, the very overdevelopment taking place in North Arlington as of this writing. Overdevelopment and high taxes enthusiastically supported by incumbent Kirk Del Russo, another real estate agent and cheerleader for the failed EnCap housing scheme and his running-mate Amanda DeCicco, their hapless replacement of Lynette Cavadas who dropped out without explanation and has apparently now moved to Lyndhurst!

And DeCicco has already appeared woefully inept to even read from a prepared text, as she embarrassed herself for all to see.

She’s obviously a RINO (Republican in

name only), as she called for the defeat of Donald Trump in 2016 and the only time she seems to vote is when her name appears on the ballot as it did last month.

According to election records, it seems like she didn’t even bother to vote in 2016 either.

To date, she hasn’t taken a position on any issue voters care about, preferring to say nothing since it appears she has nothing to say.

For where is she on overdevelopment?

Is she with Pronti or Ciattarelli?

Higher property taxes?

Del Russo or Ciattarelli?

In the past Republicans would threaten to debate, and it will be very interesting if they play that card this year with now two candidacies that can’t seem to get out of their own way!

One a decades-long supporter of overdevelopment and now a candidate who doesn’t seem sure what party she belongs to or what does she actually stands for?

The time for responsible two-party government is now and reelecting status quo candidates like Del Russo and DeCicco ensure just more of the same.

All Republicans all of the time might work for Pronti and his hand-picked candidates, it just doesn’t work for NA.
