“I never thought this would happen to us in North Arlington.”
FACEBOOK post by resident continues to display the rash of home invasions here in NA that GOP incumbents Brian Fitzhenry & Allison Sheedy ignore!
Democrats blame incumbents for lack of action and results!
NORTH ARLINGTON – In another online complaint about stolen property here in the community, council candidates John Balwierczak and John Yampaglia accused the incumbents of “doing little to next to nothing,” when it comes to the safety of the borough.
“Keeping North Arlington small, safe and suburban is not just a slogan, it is a principle prescribed by most residents. We have two incumbents who are authorizing the construction of hundreds of apartments with more to come. They will not engage the public. They believe campaigning is beneath them and the end result is a community that is unhappy and seeks real, substantial change,” offered the challengers.
They offer nothing. They say nothing and thus, do nothing,” observed candidate John Balwierczak.
“Bikes and private property being stolen in this fashion is a scary dilemma. But their answer is no answer at all to prevent this from happening again. This do-nothing decade of zero accomplishment is old and tired. We need responsible two-party government and we look forward to working with our public safety partners to ensure this community remains as crime free as possible.”
“Fitzhenry and Sheedy offer no guidance. They are leading from the back of the line.”
Democrats have called upon the GOP incumbents to offer solutions and suggestions to end these home invasions. To date they have ignored our calls and laughed at the notion North Arlington is headed in the wrong direction thanks to irresponsible one-party government that is monopolizing and destroying our grass roots democracy.
“Other than awarding themselves raises with four consecutive pay hikes, what exactly does Fitzhenry and Sheedy do as elected officials? What are their responsibilities other than cashing that check for $1,000 a month courtesy of taxpayers? Now is the hour for real change in North Arlington,” offered the hopefuls.
To meet the candidates, visit the North Arlington Post Office any Saturday between now and Election Day (November 5th) from 9 am to 12 noon. The Post Office is located at Ridge Park Drive and you can register to vote or participate in a community survey.
