Council candidates Balwierczak & Sever endorse “common sense” Democrat in June Primary
NORTH ARLINGTON – The leadership and members of the local Democratic Party including the candidates for borough council will be supporting Congressman Josh Gottheimer for the party’s nomination in the upcoming June Primary.
Gottheimer, who represents the 5th Congressional District, and a good chunk of Bergen County would be the first Democrat in the modern era from the state’s largest county to assume the office of Governor of the state of New Jersey.
“Rep. Gottheimer’s overwhelming victory in our county convention indicates the depth of his candidacy and the values he represents. His agenda is one of common sense, especially when it comes to property taxes. We believe he will have strong appeal on the bread & butter issues facing New Jersey and will be a strong lead-in for our council candidates,” offer Nick Antonicello, the longtime Democratic municipal chairman. 
Gottheimer will also have the support of North Arlington council hopefuls John Balwierczak and Cengiz Sever.
“Josh is a favorite son. He knows and understands the issues facing Bergen County, especially here in South Bergen. Here is an opportunity to nominate a Bergen County resident that will work to control property taxes, universally always an issue and concern with North Arlington residents and taxpayers, offered both Balwierczak and Sever.
