NORTH ARLINGTON – The arrogance and hypocrisy of one-term Mayor Dan Pronti and his collection of council “yes” men have North Arlington in an uproar when the Democratic Team of Cengiz and Kerim Sever have revealed that their opponents proudly voted 6-0 to give themselves a fat pay hike at the height of the pandemic!
While businesses and retailers were suffering and closed down, and while people were staying inside because of the pandemic, Dan Pronti and this all-GOP council decided to give themselves yet another raise when no one was looking!
The team of Sever & Sever will fight to roll back the NA GOP pandemic pay raises. On the side of homeowners, tenants and taxpayers, the two Democrats believe North Arlington taxpayers deserve transparency and integrity in their local government, not shady pay hikes!
BOROUGH HALL RENOVATIONS COSTING OVER $1 MILLON DOLLARS!
According to sources on the street, the massive renovation of North Arlington’s Borough Hall could cost more than a million dollars on a project that apparently is months behind schedule!
The NA Republicans seem to believe local taxpayers should subsidize the irresponsible pay hike for the part-time elected officials who are now receiving $1,000 per month to attend a single council meeting!
Does anyone believe NA residents support this arrogant display of increasing government cost when there are seniors struggling and working families are doing with so much less?
