PRONTI NOW STEALING DEMOCRATIC PROPOSALS IN AN EFFORT TO SAVE INCUMBENTS DEL RUSSO & DECICCO!

First denigrating the Farmer’s Market proposal by Democrats Balwierczak and Sever, now Pronti is trying to make it his own!

“Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.”

NORTH ARLINGTON – It looks as though when you have no tangible ideas, the Pronti Republicans will steal them and call them their own!

Here is a link to the original proposal as covered by NA Today regarding the Democratic idea to develop a seasonal, municipal Farmer’s Market:   https://natoday.net/balwierczak-sever-outline-benefits-to-seasonal-farmers-market-for-north-arlington/                                                                                                                                                                              NA Republicans and the fools who post on that hapless FACEBOOK Republican Club page can’t even get the date of the election right but described the Democratic proposal as creating a “fruit stand,” in another arrogant attempt to dispel good ideas that others propose.

Just another reason why we need responsible, two-party government.

Incredibly, Pronti while trolling online, is now claiming he’s for the idea of a Farmer’s Market!

See his comments here.

For Pronti and the Republicans are so pathetic that copying the Democratic platform is obvious as seen here in their campaign brochure they are distributing by hand door to door all summer!

And see here the reaction by residents regarding the Farmer’s Market proposal online.

The Democrats were not surprised by Pronti’s latest flip-flop.

“Maybe we can get him to stop these senseless, random, rolling tax assessments or explain why North Arlington paid $200,000 in an out-of-court settlement to a former municipal employee who was harassed verbally by a borough official. Maybe we can get Pronti to realize his massive overdevelopment schemes are generating successful tax appeals that are costing North Arlington over $100,000. Maybe he can explain why the Borough Attorney, the largest single contributor to local Republicans for at least a decade has billed over $350,000 since January of 2024,” questioned council candidate John Balwierczak.

“It’s not your money Dan. It’s the people’s,” blasted Balwierczak.

“When will Del Russo or DeCicco going to be allowed to speak or engage? Dan Pronti thinks he’s running. After we dispose of Del Russo and DeCicco, he’ll get his chance for reelection next year,” challenged the former Republican and graduate North Arlington High School.

“We need a forum that is unbiased and objective so these two puppets will be exposed once and for all. It’s time for the incumbents to stand on their own two feet and face the public and stop hiding under the skirt of Dan Pronti.” blasted Balweirczak.

Democrats are not surprised the senior housing scheme as proposed by Pronti has been mysteriously placed on the back burner.

“Pronti said a groundbreaking was forthcoming. What happened? Maybe the location is really undesirable and as with Pronti, how much is this all going to cost homeowners? Who will select who gets to live in these units? Is this site in a flood zone? More Pronti propaganda weeks before voters will go to the polls. In the end, it’s more Pronti bullshit,” offered Balwierczak.

Cengiz “Jim” Sever was also highly critical of his opponents who avoided engaging the public.

“We spent a great deal of time and energy developing new ideas like the Farmer’s Market that if done properly could be a continued and sustaining source of revenue. The spend and tax, spend and indebt Republicans like Del Russo and DeCicco supported a $1.5 million dollar “emergency” appropriation of a dormant parking lot on River Road. What was the emergency and what is the purpose? They are squandering revenues without reason or explanation,” offered Sever, a homeowner, husband and father of three he has received strong union support in his bid for a council seat.

“We want to work with state and county officials to restore and renovate the Passaic riverfront, they have no plan. They have no plan because North Arlington is a political island to itself with no allies or friends at the county, state or federal levels. Who does Pronti know? The mayor of Belleville? Who is a municipal vendor? It’s embarrassing. He has no relationship with our county, state, or federal elected officials and it’s the reason big ideas don’t occur here in North Arlington,” offered both Balwierczak and Sever.

“We want what’s best for homeowners and taxpayers. If Pronti has to stoop this level to save his ticket, so be it. We’re not the Pronti puppet team. We’re North Arlington’s team standing for NA values like keeping our borough small, safe and suburban and ridding the community of partisan politics first and responsible public policy last,”
