RANDOM REPUBLICAN TAX REASSESSMENTS HAVE NA RESIDENTS IN REVOLT!

VOTERS TIRED OF THE LIES THAT PROPERTY TAXES ARE NOT INCREASING, WHO IS AMANDA DECICCO?

WHAT HAPPENED AT THE LIBRARY? HOSTILE WORK ENVIRONMENT? ACCUSATIONS OF THE USE OF THE N-WORD AGAINST PATRONS?

WHY DID NORTH ARLINGTON SPEND $238,800 FOR A WATER FOUNTAIN?

NORTH ARLINGTON – Democrats John Balwierczak and Cengiz “Jim” Sever were warmly greeted at the North Arlington Post Office on Saturday morning as residents railed against random reassessments that are raising property taxes to historic highs!

One resident told the candidates that his overall property tax bill had exceeded $20,000 and that living in North Arlington was no longer affordable.

“Taxes are killing us. The increases are constant and every year. We see little return on these property tax reassessments. North Arlington is more expensive to live in than Lyndhurst, Wallington, Secaucus, Kearny and East Rutherford or Hasbrouck Heights. We need a tax break and a change,” offered the same homeowner who requested to remain anonymous.

Many residents had no idea who Amanda DeCicco was, and when they were told she supported random reassessments, that’s all they needed to know about her!

DeCicco is a first-time candidate who rarely votes and has no record of community involvement and did not attend local schools.

“She is Pronti’s puppet and proud of it,” observed Democratic council candidate John Balwierczak.

Several residents were curious about the $200,000 out-of-court settlement that was negotiated by Mayor Dan Pronti, along with incumbents Kirk Del Russo and Amenda DeCicco who enthusiastically supported the deal. “We saw that a water fountain is being installed on River Road. How much did that cost,” asked another resident.

“$238,800 replied council candidate John Balwierczak. Apparently, a developer donated the fountain, but Pronti refuses to disclose the name or names of the individuals even though he is required as per state law. Even former Mayor Peter Massa stated that any gift or in-kind contribution must be made public. Why are we accepting gifts from developers? Are these developers doing business here in NA? Why the secrecy? Why the mystery? Who would you spend nearly $240,000 for a fountain that can’t even operate all year long? This is the stupidity of Pronti, Del Russo and DeCicco,” Balwierczak.

“Between the water fountain and the out-of-court settlement with Irene Colao, that’s nearly $450,000 in wasteful spending. Add the additional $400,000 in legal fees since January of 2024 and that’s almost $1M in tax dollars squandered and wasted. The Republicans have had ten years to right this ship. Let’s elect two Democrats to keep an eye on taxes and say “no” to random reassessments. Del Russo and DeCicco are unqualified to serve based on this record of failure. There petrified to debate and don’t even offer voters a single solution to a problem. The time is now to bring back Democrats to the Borough Council come Tuesday, November 4th,” offered both Balwierczak and Sever.

The Mayor & Council currently has seven Republicans and zero Democrats. No Democrat has served since 2019.
