SHEEDY ON THE NA PROPERTY TAX HIKE: “IT WASN’T EVEN A THOUSAND DOLLARS, IT’S NOT ALOT MONEY.”

SHEEDY ON THE NA PROPERTY TAX HIKE: “IT WASN’T EVEN A THOUSAND DOLLARS, IT’S NOT ALOT MONEY.”

NORTH ARLINGTON – Councilwoman Allison Sheedy (R) stated that the property tax hike here in North Arlington was in her view, reasonable regarding her home and she tried to compare the increase with the home of Democratic council candidate John Balwierczak.

A classic example of apples and oranges!

Here is Sheedy in her own words:

A dual job holder on two public payrolls as a council member and an employee of the North Arlington Board of Education, one wonders if she is opposing the incumbents who hired her, or is she supporting the Pronti backed Republican ticket that wants to end the independent, non-partisan environment that currently manages our local schools?

More power for Pronti?

Partisan politics or educational excellence and success?

A BOE that reports to the Superintendent of Schools or a board that would be influenced by the politics of Pronti?

Two years ago, Sheedy received $500 from the North Arlington Republicans just to participate in an election where the Republicans ran unopposed.

Sheedy also supports rolling and random reassessments here in North Arlington.
