VP HARRIS MAKES HER MARK IN NORTH ARLINGTON!

NORTH ARLINGTON – Vice-President Kamala Harris has staked her claim in NA as her lawn signs seem to be sprouting around various homes.

Harris, the first African-American female to seek the presidency and former US Senator & California Attorney General has selected Minnesota Governor Timothy Walz as her vice-presidential running-mate.

Harris will be debating former President Donald J. Trump, who was the primary engineer behind the failed housing scheme known as EnCap, that would have constructed over 1,500 units of low income and affordable housing apartments along Porete Avenue here in North Arlington that was opposed by local Democrats and praised by NA Republicans such as Brian Fitzhenry and Allison Sheedy, who have consistently supported the complete overdevelopment of Ridge Road with more to come on the Belleville Pike and Schuyler Avenue!

Local Democrats John Balwierczak and John Yampaglia have consistently opposed the practice of high density apartments that have urbanized North Arlington with hundreds of new dwellings with more to come.

North Arlington Republicans have had a complete stranglehold on local government holding all seven seats since 2019 and no Democrat has won locally since 2016, nearly eight years ago.

Balwierczak, a former Republican running for the first time was critical of the incumbents who have not had to seriously run for reelection in nearly a decade.

“Nobody wants North Arlington to become Belleville. The overdevelopment of the community is the only issue in this race and Fitzhenry and Sheedy are the engineers of a transformation no one supports. We are the North Arlington first team. They oppose keeping North Arlington small, safe and suburban. We want to remain the gateway of Bergen County and our opponents are detached from political reality. Fitz and Allison. In too long, out-of-touch and time to go,” offered the challengers.

Pick-up a lawn sign and support the local Democratic ticket. Meet the candidates this Saturday at the North Arlington Post Office located at Ridge Park Drive from 9 to 12 noon.
