NORTH ARLINGTON – Councilman Mario Karcic is forewarning residents as well as his Republican colleagues that impending healthcare costs are spiraling out of control, but what is North Arlington doing to prepare for financial crisis?
More spending, more hires, more promotions and more debt without a worry in the world!
They are knowingly on this spending spree as legal fees and litigation consume large portions of the budget.
They spent $1.5 million dollars on a dilapidated and abandoned River Road property that will require hundreds of thousands of dollars in remediation and renovation costs.
They called it an “emergency appropriation.”
What was the emergency?
Here are Karcic’s online comments that Mayor Dan Pronti, Kirk Del Russo and Amanda DeCicco are more than happy to ignore! 
It seems Karcic, and only Karcic is acknowledging what North Arlington can expect in 2026 as they continue to spend and tax away the community’s future with senseless out-of-court settlements, refunds back to taxpayers and hundreds of thousands of dollars on legal fees that have North Arlington on a potential financial cliff!
And where is Del Russo and DeCicco in this conversation?

North Arlington requires a change before it is too late.
