YAMPAGLIA HOSTS TABLE AT POST OFFICE, GOES DOOR TO DOOR AT COPPER RIDGE GARDENS

North Arlington Councilman Mark Yampaglia, the Democratic nominee for mayor officially launches his door to door effort effort by registering voters at The Post Office at Ridge Park Drive and then going door to door at the Copper Ridge Gardens across the street.

Yampaglia, who was joined with running-mate Josie Papile of Arlington Boulevard is seeking a seat on the Borough Council with Pete Massa.

Yampaglia was optimistic about the reaction from voters.

“Experience matters. Residents know that I care. My secret is that I listen with keeping the needs of the resident in mind. It’s about the people, no me,” offered Yampaglia.

The two Democrats were happy with the support received in both locations.

“We have a strong platform and message. We did extremely well in the Primary where I received more votes then any other candidate on the ballot with the exception of Freeholder Steve Tanelli. The community wants public servants with the experience, resume of success and educational credentials to successfully govern. This ticket and team of candidates does exactly that,” said the four-term Councilman.

What about these third-party nuisances?

“Governing is about building a vision and getting people excited about your goals and objectives. The two undeclared candidacies have no running-mates, funding or political support. There candidacies are symptoms of failing to persuade either political party to support them, so they go it angrily alone. It’s about tearing down and attacking those institutions that have provided governance for generations,” offered one political observer when asked to comment.

“I’m running a positive campaign. I have served with two of my opponents and currently with Mayor Bianchi. I like Joe and respect him and I think he feels the same way about me. This is a small town with values and principles many communities envy. Making NA even better is what my campaign is all about,” said Yampaglia while council candidate Josie Papile agreed.
