Mark Yampaglia is a life-long North Arlington resident and homeowner with his wife and daughter.
A member of the prestigious PHI BETA KAPPA, Yampaglia earned his BA and MA from Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU) and is a graduate of the Touro School of Law and has served as a municipal public defender.
Yampaglia attended local schools and played varsity baseball for North Arlington High School. He also serves on the Board of Director of the OCNAC #1 Federal Credit Union located in Jersey City.
Yampaglia has the distinction of being appointed to the North Arlington Borough Council twice by two different mayors as well as being elected in 2005, 2008, 2011 and again in 2016.
Yampaglia’s father, the late Emil Yampaglia, served as North Arlington’s municipal judge, being appointed by both Democrats and Republicans alike.
