USWU LOCAL #755 ENDORSES TEDESCO, TANELLI AND ZUR FOR REELECTION AS COUNTY EXECUTIVE AND BERGEN COUNTY FREEHOLDER!
Tanelli seeks to become longest serving freeholder from No Arlington!
In a letter to their membership dated October 15th (see attached), the USWU Local #755 has endorsed Bergen County Executive James Tedesco and his running-mates Steve Tanelli and Tracy Zur for Bergen County Freeholder!
Tedesco is seeking a second term as the state’s most populous county executive and both Tanelli and Zur are seeking a third, three-year term. Tanelli is the third resident of North Arlington and the first Democrat to serve on the Board of Freeholders.
Tanelli, a media and marketing executive with a Paramus based time piece manufacturer and Zur, a former judge and lawyer are teamed with Tedesco who has served as a Paramus councilman, mayor and firefighter as well as a county freeholder.
Tanelli was humbled by the endorsement.
“I’m grateful that this association of public employees believes in my tenure and record as a freeholder. I will continue to work hard and earn the respect of these individuals who are an important component of this great county,” offered the former North Arlington councilman and acting mayor.
A father of three adult sons, Tanelli is married and resides on Third Street. Two of his sons are law enforcement officials. Tanelli is a graduate of Montclair State University and has served in an elected capacity since 2004 when he was first elected to the North Arlington Borough Council.
Now a grand-father, the Tanelli‘s are parishioners of Mount Carmel Church located in Lyndhurst.
