USWU LOCAL #755 ENDORSES TEDESCO, TANELLI AND ZUR FOR REELECTION AS COUNTY EXECUTIVE AND BERGEN COUNTY FREEHOLDER!

Tanelli seeks to become longest serving freeholder from No Arlington!

In a letter to their membership dated October 15th (see attached), the USWU Local #755 has endorsed Bergen County Executive James Tedesco and his running-mates Steve Tanelli and Tracy Zur for Bergen County Freeholder!

Tedesco is seeking a second term as the state’s most populous county executive and both Tanelli and Zur are seeking a third, three-year term. Tanelli is the third resident of North Arlington and the first Democrat to serve on the Board of Freeholders.

Tanelli, a media and marketing executive with a Paramus based time piece manufacturer and Zur, a former judge and lawyer are teamed with Tedesco who

has served as a Paramus councilman, mayor and firefighter as well as a county freeholder.

Tanelli was humbled by the endorsement.

“I’m grateful that this association of public employees believes in my tenure and record as a freeholder. I will continue to work hard and earn the respect of these individuals who are an important component of this great county,” offered the former North Arlington councilman and acting mayor.

Tracy Zur
A father of three adult sons, Tanelli is married and resides on Third Street. Two of his sons are law enforcement officials. Tanelli is a graduate of Montclair State University and has served in an elected capacity since 2004 when he was first elected to the North Arlington Borough Council.

Now a grand-father, the Tanelli‘s are parishioners of Mount Carmel Church located in Lyndhurst.
