An Open Letter for Support from Mayoral Candidate John Balwierczak:
October 17, 2026
Dear Friend:
I want to thank you for your past support, and I have a favor to ask you:
Would you like a sign for your lawn supporting our Democratic ticket?
We are seeking campaign workers for Election Day, we have full-time and part-time shifts available. For hours and rates, call (201) 655-8497.
The wind is behind our back, and this will be a strong Democratic year!
Tell a friend about our team and we can use all the help you can offer!
We need responsible two-party government here in North Arlington and no Democrat has served since 2019!
Dan Pronti has urbanized North Arlington with massive overdevelopment that has led to random reassessments and unbridled apartment construction that has decimated our business district and raised your property taxes to historic levels!
We can do better.
I will immediately call for an end to this apartment madness, a moratorium on annual reassessments back to 7-10 years and bring back the notion that North Arlington remains small, safe, suburban, and most of all, affordable!
Thank you for your time, help, and consideration, and don’t hesitate to call me anytime.
Best Regards,
John Balwierczak
Democratic Candidate for Mayor
Borough of North Arlington
Papile & Sever for Borough Council
