A CASE FOR CHANGE: GEARING UP FOR THE FALL CAMPAIGN!

Balwierczak & Yampaglia lawn signs are ready to go!

NORTH ARLINGTON – With less than 100 days before the November 5th General Election, the “North Arlington First” campaign featuring council candidates John Balwierczak and John Yampaglia were delighted by the early arrival of lawn signs for supporters come the fall contest.

The signs will be Viking blue & white, the official colors of the NAHS varsity teams!

“We will continue to concentrate on our walking, canvassing and tabling at the Post Office each Saturday as we gather voter surveys to discuss the issues residents really want to talk about. Anyone interested in having a sign supporting the ticket are urged to contact the campaign at (201) 655-8497,” offered candidate John Balwierczak, a first-time challenger, life-long resident and graduate of North Arlington High School.

“Signs are a great way to build neighborhood support and recruit volunteers as well as register voters. We have been working at this for almost a year and we are excited by the groundswell of support. This election will be one of the most consequential in the history of North Arlington as we choose a definitive path of remaining small, safe and suburban or continuing on this collision course of density, urbanization and the plethora of new apartment dwellings along Ridge Road now metastasizing to Schuyler Avenue, River Road and the Belleville Turnpike. Do we really need rolling assessments, Municipal Tax hikes and pay raises for politicians like our opponents? The overdevelopment being railroaded is unacceptable and this dangerous experiment will continue as long as we have only Republicans running North Arlington into the ground,” offered the hopefuls.
