THE COURAGE TO STAND UP TO THE OVERDEVELOPMENT SCHEMES OF FITZHENRY & SHEEDY!

Balwierczak, Yampaglia committed to keeping North Arlington small, safe and suburban!

NORTH ARLINGTON – Democratic council candidate John Balwierczak, running along with running-mate John Yampaglia continues to expose the overdevelopment housing schemes of incumbents Brian Fitzhenry and Allison Sheedy, who have voted themselves pay raises, while approving hundreds of new apartments on Ridge Road, now scheduled for Schuyler Avenue, as this video plainly shows.

Balwierczak, a former Republican, life-long resident and graduate of North Arlington High School has committed himself to longtime residents that are being pushed out by the overdevelopment policies of incumbents Brian Fitzhenry and Allison Sheedy.

“This neighborhood is unhappy. You notice these large scale projects are not being constructed on Fitzhenry’s or Sheedy’s block. The arrogance is insulting because regular residents who are not politically connected are being ignored,” offered the first-time challenger.

Balwierczak believes if the incumbents are reelected, that will be a sign for wholesale explosion of additional apartment construction that will forever urbanize North Arlington into an extension of Hudson County.

“This is the last chance for North Arlington to remain small, safe and suburban. We desperately need two-party representation as opposed to seven Republicans all in the hip pocket of out-of-town real estate interests that are fueling this unbridled density, increased traffic and lost residential street parking. If they prevail, it will be a green light to become an extension of Belleville or Hudson County, take your pick.”

“Do you believe in our community values of being small, safe and suburban? Do you believe in good public schools that demand small class sizes? Do you believe that overdevelopment is threatening your quality of life? Then join us in this fight for North Arlington’s future and vote the North Arlington first team come November 5th.”

Meet the Democrats any Saturday at the North Arlington Post Office from 9 am till 12 noon located at Ridge Park Drive.
