ALL-REPUBLICAN BOROUGH COUNCIL VOTES TO RAISE MUNICIPAL TAXES FOR SECOND STRAIGHT YEAR!
The all-Republican Mayor and Council proudly announced that municipal taxes will increase for a second consecutive year!
North Arlington – At tonight’s council meeting (6/12) led by Mayor Dan Pronti and Councilman Kirk Del Russo, North Arlington homeowners can expect yet another tax hike!
The entire Mayor & Council all support this tax hike that includes raises for part time elected officials like Del Russo who is seeking reelection.
In fact, Del Russo refused to discuss his support for yet another tax hike when North Arlington is sitting millions in surplus and can avoid such an increase!
Del Russo sat like a bump on a log!
Says nothing and does nothing!
The surplus could have been used for tax relief, but Del Russo opposes fighting for working families and especially seniors hit hard by outrageous government spending thanks to random rolling tax assessments most residents oppose.
Another year, another GOP tax increase as massive overdevelopment continues to destroy North Arlington’s character as a small, safe suburban community!
And North Arlington once again has the highest property taxes in all of South Bergen thanks to Pronti and Del Russo.
