NORTH ARLINGTON REPUBLICAN COUNCIL CANDIDATE OPPOSES DONALD TRUMP!
2016 POSTS REVEAL HER PERSONAL DISDAIN FOR MAGA!
NORTH ARLINGTON – There seems to be some dissention within the Republican ranks as this year’s candidate for Borough Council, Amanda DeCicco is no fan of President Donald Trump.
Postings revealed here display DeCicco’s fear of a Trump presidency in July of 2016: 
“I had a dream Donald Trump won president…Please No! ”
On Election Day of the same year in 2016, DeCicco posted the following message:
“I am praying TRUMP doesn’t win !!!!!

This begs the question, why is she running as a Republican?
The entire North Arlington Mayor & Council are enthusiastic supporters of President Trump, including her running-mate, Councilman Kirk Del Russo who supported Trump’s attempts to construct the ill-fated housing scheme known as EnCap, an attempt to construct some 1,600 units of affordable and low-income units in the Meadowlands that would have prevented the eventual construction of the Federal Express Distribution Center along Porete Avenue that was supported in a bipartisan effort by former NA mayors Peter Massa (D) and the late Joseph Bianchi (R). 
Since we know so little about the DeCicco candidacy, does she support the “random, rolling tax assessments” supported by Pronti and Del Russo?
Assessments opposed by most NA homeowners who view them as unfair and unequitable.
Did she support last year’s Municipal Tax hike or this year’s impending increase?
Does she support the pay hikes for part-time elected officials like Del Russo? 
Does she support the massive overdevelopment of Ridge Road where hundreds of new apartment units have been constructed, compromising North Arlington’s character as a small, safe and suburban bedroom community?
Based on her comments, one would assume she supported Democrat Hillary Clinton for president over Trump in that 2016 presidential contest?
Who did she support for President in 2020?
How about in 2024?
Those MAGA Republicans here in North Arlington, the flag-waving fanatics of the President might be disappointed to learn candidate DeCicco is barely a registered Republican. 
In fact, has she ever voted in a Republican Primary until becoming a candidate earlier this year when incumbent Lynette Cavadas suddenly and abruptly left the race without explanation?
For Trump’s record in North Arlington has been disturbing, especially when it comes to the outrageous housing proposals he supported in North Arlington.
North Arlington demands responsible two-party government and electing Democrats John Balwierczak and Cengiz “Jim” Sever would be a great first start.
Yes, elections do have consequences for North Arlington!
