Why won’t Republicans comment on the out-of-court settlement that cost NA taxpayers $200,000?
The Library Board, Pronti, Del Russo and DeCicco have nothing to say!
Accusations of racism and vulgarity go unanswered by the GOP incumbents!
North Arlington – To what lengths will Mayor Dan Pronti, and council members Kirk Del Russo and Amanda DeCicco go to avoid transparency and the simple truth?
Why did North Arlington mysteriously settle out of court and pay a former library employee with an impeccable record $200,000 to go away?
Here is a link to the original story that discussed the lawsuit filed by one Ellen Colao:
N.J. town’s library was racist, vulgar workplace, ex-employee says in suit – nj.com
A worker at the North Arlington Public Library in Bergen County said her supervisor made discriminatory and vulgar remarks in her presence.
For based on this story we know that someone at the Library, be it a board member or employee was accused of creating a hostile workplace, and that “racist” and “vulgar” commentary was leveled at this individual!
By settling out-of-court on the recommendation of legal counsel, just who is responsible for what took place and what is any corrective action was taken by the Library Board or its staff?
For whom is responsible for what took place?
Here below is the resolution calling for the payment of $200,000, but the people of North Arlington are not given a single fact of the case or who placed North Arlington in this legal entanglement?

And where is the mayor, Dan Pronti?
Hiding again.
Why does he ignore this payment and explain himself to the public?
Where is Kirk Del Russo and Amanda DeCicco who supported this $200,000 payout?
Hiding as well.
Doesn’t the public have a right to know the truth and how come no disciplinary action has been taken by North Arlington against these individuals?
Another GOP “whitewash” of the truth!
“The Republicans believe the more they intentionally ignore this litigation and settlement, it will just go away. Del Russo and DeCicco are so partisan that they lack the courage or the character to explain the facts of the case and why taxpayers are left writing a check for $200,000. Both Del Russo and DeCicco are political “yes” men who can’t say no to Dan Pronti. Pronti says jump, and Kirk and Amanda exclaim how high,” observed candidate John Balwierczak, a lifelong resident and graduate of North Arlington High School.
“Is it too much to tell the public the truth? Can someone ne held accountable for their actions? This is why there will be no forum or debate with our opponents, they cannot answer simple questions as to this lawsuit they refuse to even acknowledge. This is how low this government has sunk with only Republicans minding the store,” offered Cengiz “Jim” Sever, Balwierczak’s running mate.
For the tax hikes, tax refunds, ridiculous litigation and legal fees have North Arlington embarrassed and yearning for real leadership that will say “no” to higher taxes and the random assessments of Pronti, Del Russo and DeCicco.
