LABOR BEHIND BALWIERCZAK & SEVER IN NORTH ARLINGTON!

INCUMBENTS CRITICIZE CHALLENGERS FOR CANVASSING, CAMPAIGNING AND SEEKING A SIDE-BY-SIDE FORUM ABOUT RISING PROPERTY TAXES.

WHEN WILL DECICCO OR DEL RUSSO COMMENT ON THE $200,000 OUT-OF-COURT SETTLEMENT?

WHY DID THEY VOTE YES?

NORTH ARLINGTON – There are some 900 families in North Arlington with affiliation to the AFL-CIO, and the Bergen County Central Trades Council celebrated there endorsed candidates at the local, county and state levels Wednesday evening.

Both John Balwierczak and Cengiz “Jim” Sever were introduced to the hundreds in attendance thanking labor for their help and support.

Balwierczak spoke to the audience and promised that he will work tirelessly to bring responsible two-party government back to North Arlington.

“Our opponents mock and ridicule our passion and determination to flip these council seats. We are opposed to these random Republican tax reassessments that Del Russo and DeCicco endorse. They claim to have put in the work; but we question what work? What effort? Blindly raising taxes at the behest of Mayor Dan Pronti? The fact is they have no record, no platform and no reason to run at all. I challenge them to a debate or forum where they can detail the so-called work they do. Other than attending a single meeting per month and cashing that council check for $1,000, they are getting paid to be Pronti’s puppets and blindly vote “yes” for higher taxes,” offered Balwierczak.

Balwierczak and Sever were thankful for the support and also received the endorsement of Commissioner Thomas Sullivan who is seeking reelection along with a strong voice of support by Bergen County Clerk John Hogan as pictured here.

Balwierczak called the GOP campaign listless and invisible.

“DeCicco won’t knock on a single door. Her RINO campaign remains empty and partisan. She just voted to expend some $7 million dollars at the last council meeting. Did she review any of the payment of claims? What about this $200,000 out-of-court settlement she’s petrified to comment. Why was a former library employee awarded $200,000 in an out-of-court settlement? Why won’t DeCicco comment? Her actions are disgraceful and prove she is not on the side of homeowners or taxpayers. When will she explain that vote to award $200K to this individual? I guess Dan won’t allow her to comment as well as Kirk too. In fact, Pronti himself won’t utter a word as the litigation and legal fees are skyrocketing without reason or logic,” blasted Balwierczak.

“She is a “yes” vote for higher taxes. She calls herself a public advocate. What does she advocate? Higher taxes and reassessments. She was not elected by anyone but appointed to this seat by Pronti and now she is nothing but a hand puppet waiting to vote for higher taxes again and again. Her lack of effort is only complicated by her disinterest in serving,” said Balwierczak.
