REVISIONIST REPUBLICAN RHETORIC HAS RESIDENTS OUTRAGED! 

REPUBLICAN REASSESSMENTS ARE RAISING TAXES NOW, DECICCO & DEL RUSSO VOTED YES! 

NORTH ARLINGTON – Republican incumbents Kirk Del Russo and Amanda DeCicco who in fact are raising property taxes through “unfair and inequitable” tax reassessments are now trying to tie Democratic council candidate John Balwierczak to a 2007 headline when EnCap, the housing scheme supported by Del Russo, failed to pay the borough a $1 million dollar payment.

Balwierczak was a high school senior in 2007.

He was just 17.

That was 18 years ago.

EnCap was initially negotiated by a Republican Mayor & Council wanted to “take over 20 blue-collar businesses to build over 1,600 housing units and 50,000 square feet of retail space.”

This deal collapsed when the initial $1 million dollar payment never occurred as they left a $3.6 million dollar deficit that was concocted by NA Republicans!

The person most responsible for the EnCap debacle is incumbent council member Kirk Del Russo, a real estate agent and state employee who served on the borough’s now defunct Redevelopment Authority that gave EnCap the green light!

The tax hike as reported at the time was due to the actions of Republicans tossed from office and Del Russo who has never reversed his support for the controversial housing scheme that would have built some 1,600 apartments, not the promised luxury golf course homes!

North Arlington resident James Dombrowski, who currently serves on the borough’s Recreation Commission as well as a former member of the Board of Education, supported the decision.

“What they wanted to build was a massive housing project with no commitment to infrastructure or to the schools,” said the life-long resident.

ONLY REPUBLICANS SUPPORTED THE ENCAP PROJECT LED BY KIRK DEL RUSSO. 

“I find it hysterical and laughable that Kirk Del Russo and his supporters and surrogates want to tie me to an 18-year-old headline from a newspaper that no longer exists. Kirk Del Russo supported EnCap. I was a senior in high school. The people behind this propaganda and outright lies are desperate and this dog will not hunt. There is only one individual involved in government or politics that supported EnCap and that’s Kirk Del Russo. The other individual lives at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and his name, is President Donald Trump,” blasted Balwierczak.

“When Del Russo and DeCicco decide to return to political reality and debate me in public. Let me know. We need a responsible two-party government, and residents have enough of the lies of Del Russo and his surrogates,” offered the life-long resident and NAHS graduate.
