NO ARLINGTON HIT WITH 17.1 INCHES OF SNOW!

Online frustration regarding snow removal!

North Arlington was hit with a record 17-plus inches of snow that has brought the New York/New Jersey metropolitan area to a virtual standstill as most businesses were shut down as well as local schools and government offices today.

Here is a sample of some of the snow around NA as well as online commentary by residents and the frustrations they are facing.

Newark Liberty International along with JFK & La Guardia came to a complete shutdown with thousands of flights being cancelled, with the status of flights resuming still in doubt for the next several days.

Buses and access to Manhattan have been also cancelled as this blizzard is the worst in over a decade with snow drifts as high as three feet in some locations as DPW workers are challenged with this unprecedented accumulation.

NA Today will continue to monitor the situation, and to contact the Department of Public Works, call (201) 991-6060 x310 or the NAPD, contact (210) 991-4400.

To Contact Mayor Dan Pronti, call (201) 991-6060.
