TAX HIKE, TAX BILLS DELAYED, PRONTI BLAMES COUNTY!
Does North Arlington ever take responsibility for anything?
NORTH ARLINGTON – According to the Borough, the 2026-27 tax bills have not been mailed to homeowners due to “delays in certifying the tax rate from Bergen County officials.”
Claiming the budget was long finalized, didn’t the Mayor & Council formally adopt on June 12th, just last month?
Apparently, the printing and mailing of this tax bill and property tax increase will be mailed in mid-August. As for due dates, that information will be announced at that time, whatever that means!
The announcement also reads, “Due to the strong financial position of our borough, we have been able to avoid issuing costly and confusing estimated tax bills as many of our surrounding communities have needed to do.”
In the world according to Pronti, if our financial condition is so strong, why is he raising property taxes in the first place?
A question Pronti conveniently avoids, ducks and pivots away!
Has North Arlington been actually over-taxing residents?
Why aren’t surplus funds being applied for necessary tax relief in this budget?
And has North Arlington cut a single cent in wasteful spending?
And why wasn’t this budget even mentioned once in his $10,000 self-promoting newsletter paid for by homeowners instead of six-pages of Pronti eating hot dogs and pizza with his picture plastered twenty-three (23) times over 12-pages?
It is this kind of Pravda style, communication, and political propaganda at its worst!
Where are the updates regarding the double homicide murders on Ridge Road?
What about acknowledging the federal raid of a Belleville Pike business that was part of a far wider drug-related investigation? 
Crickets.
Yes, the Pronti Administration is expert in blaming almost anyone and everyone for whatever goes wrong in North Arlington.
They hate the fact John Balwierczak dared to run for mayor and that voters have a choice come November.
There is only three people to blame for this unexplained property tax hike and that’s MAGA Dan Pronti, Mario Karcic and Donna Bocchino. They proudly stand by it but can’t explain it hoping you just won’t notice or blame the North Arlington school board as Pronti once again tries to politicize that race with his partisan slate of candidates!
Pronti wants total control of every council seat and every seat on the board of education too.
The truth is he has done whatever he pleases for a decade with a rubber stamp borough council of “yes” votes that lack the will or courage to oppose him on anything!
And despite the fact North Arlington has more registered Democrats, none serve on the Mayor & Council.
This year could be different.
