UNION PROUD AND STRONG: JIM SEVER FOR NA BOROUGH COUNCIL!

NORTH ARLINGTON – Homeowner, father and husband Cengiz “Jim” Sever is organized labor’s top endorsed candidate here in Bergen County as he landed the official endorsement of the New Jersey AFL-CIO, the official voice of working families and seniors statewide.

Sever, an Albert Street resident, was thankful to his brothers and sisters of the labor movement.

“The local Republicans are 100% MAGA. They all supported Donald Trump’s failed EnCap project to construct nearly 1,800 units of low-income housing in the Meadowlands and they are the architects of the current decimation of our business district which is being replaced by unbridled apartment construction nobody supports. We now have a crime concern with the Ridge Road murders this summer and the federal drug raid of a business mixed up in narcotics on the Belleville Pike. People are upset and we need a change of leadership by bringing back responsible two-party government to our community.”

Sever, like his running-mate Dennis Papile and mayoral candidate John Balwierczak have also been endorsed by the Bergen County Central Trades & Labor Council, the largest collection of union members and their families in all of North Jersey.

“We are the ticket endorsed by working families and seniors. We will protect taxpayers and retain our values of keeping North Arlington small, safe, and suburban. We understand the affordability crisis being forced upon homeowners and tenants. We will end the random, rolling reassessments of residential homes and protect our tenant families from the lack of support being provided by Pronti. We will end the urbanization and gentrification of NA,” offered the candidate.

Sever dismissed the notion by Pronti that his failed policies have the support of homeowners.

“Is North Arlington safe? Is the Mayor keeping our community small or suburban? Ten years of all Republicans all of the time does not benefit our grass roots democracy. We need a healthy mix of Democrats and with John as our new mayor and Dennis joining the borough council, we will have exactly that. His senior housing plan is irresponsible and does not solve any affordability crisis. 40 units in a flood zone? I think not,” offered Sever.
