An Open Letter to the Residents of North Arlington:

An Open Letter to the Residents of North Arlington:

I would like to take this opportunity to thank those who offered their deepest condolences and sympathies to my family in wake of my mother’s sudden passing last month.

She was just 65 and full of life; she will be sorely missed.

I miss her deeply already.

She is now with my Dad who we lost in 2023 some two and half years ago.

It is difficult to comprehend her passing when her health was seemingly fine.

She was my biggest supporter, always offering encouragement to follow my dreams and to always be a person that cares about family, our community and doing what is right for North Arlington.

It was good advice and I plan to follow her wise words.

My family as well as myself are struggling during these difficult times and my focus has not been on politics or my campaign for the obvious reasons. My sister, who with her husband recently had their first son, is struggling as well with no longer having our Mom, a new grandmother, to my nephew Cooper.

For those of you who took the time to attend the wake and funeral mass was greatly appreciated by my family as we try to pick up the pieces and move on.

The flowers, cards of sympathy and remembrance of my Mom were overwhelming and heartfelt.

With that said, I will continue this campaign in due time.

My Mother would have wanted me to finish what we started, and I owe it to my running-mates, my party and the public to offer a constructive alternative to the policies that currently challenge North Arlington.

For at least now, I would hope my opponents in this campaign cease the endless online attacks that seem infinite, mean-spirited and beneath any semblance of respect or dignity to me, my family, or the community at-large.

Local politics need not devolve into some bloodsport.

You don’t have to like me, but some semblance of respect is little to ask.

For lap dog partisan loyalty coupled with being loud and wrong is just senseless, below the belt and hurts my family that is still in grief.

Please respect these wishes.

I’m a lifelong resident and I attended local schools. I’m a graduate of NAHS and I love North Arlington. Despite my permanent hearing disability, I am committed to giving back and playing a constructive role as hopefully your next mayor.

I plan to be an advocate, a fulltime elected official putting residents first.

North Arlington is a great community that can be better, more inclusive, diversified, and tolerant of different solutions and points of view. That is why I chose to run, to offer that discussion, to have a choice and not a coronation.

I seek a dialogue and seek to end the overt partisan monologue we have today.

I look forward to getting back on the campaign trail and I thank you for reading this message and know full well you do have a choice and there will be a serious discussion of the future of North Arlington moving forward.
