SCHAER, CALABRESE ENDORSE MARFINO FOR NA BOROUGH COUNCIL

Democratic Legislative Team Committed to responsible two-party government!

North Arlington Democratic council hopeful Frank Marfino representing his local ticket in receiving the endorsement of District 36 Assembly Members Gary Schaer of Passaic and Clinton Calabrese of Cliffside Park, the grandson of the late Mayor Gerald “Gerry” Calabrese, one of the most popular and longest serving mayors in history of the United States.

Marfino attended a recent fundraiser of the Assembly duo who are heading the Democratic ticket come November with Freeholder Steve Tanelli, a former North Arlington councilman who was easily reelected to a third term on Bergen County’s seven-member legislative body last November.

Tanelli is only the third North Arlington resident to serve as a Bergen County Freeholder and just the second under the updated county charter.

Schaer also serves as a Passaic city council member and Calabrese is a former member of the Cliffside Park Board of Education.

Both are expected win reelection easily.

“Local Democrats have a great top of the ticket lead-in which should be crucial come the November election,” offered one local political observer when asked to comment.
