NORTH ARLINGTON – Believing an infrastructure investment at River Road along the Passaic River will spurt sustaining economic development for taxpayers, Councilman Mark Yampaglia is renewing his call for cooperation with Bergen County and Freeholder Steve Tanelli with plans to construct a bike/running path that connects the North Arlington Diner with Riverside County Park.

AFRAID TO MEET THE DEMOCRATS IN A FORUM OR DEBATE?
“This is why they refuse to debate. Their campaign is devoid of an original idea. What we do know for sure is that Kirk Del Russo and Amanda DeCicco stand for nothing, are tools for massive redevelopment and unfair and arbitrary rolling tax assessments that are raising property taxes without exception,” offer council candidate John Balwierczak, who has demanded a debate challenge that has been ignored by the incumbents.
“Dan thinks he’s running. Trying to intimidate me by threatening to have me removed from a council meeting because he despises the fact, he’s all wrong on these added assessments. He demands puppets and is petrified by the notion of Democrats questioning his terrible record on spending, taxes and added assessments. We need a responsible two-party government here in North Arlington. We require a discussion and a debate on the issues, not a Pronti monologue and lecture that isn’t based in reality.”
