A North Arlington success story, Two Residents “Giving Back” to the Community They Love!

Both born and raised in North Arlington, council candidates John Yampaglia and Tom Bradley offer the kind of local resume and record that makes sense for taxpayers!

Born and bred here in NA, John Yampaglia and Tom Bradley grew up on our local athletic fields and courts because they truly know North Arlington and what residents really care about.

Educated here in North Arlington, one at NAHS and the other at Queen of Peace, John is a small business owner with a salon in Essex County while Tom holds a management position in the technology space while formerly employed as a union member with the IBEW.

Both share powerful stories of community service.

John is the son of retired Municipal Judge Emil Yampaglia and the brother of former four-term councilman Mark Yampaglia, a small business owner himself with a law firm located in Rutherford.

John has earned a BA and MA in Religious Studies and is a certified & licensed beautician.

A former member of the North Arlington Planning Board serving under Mayors of both parties, John considers himself an advocate for homeowners and tenants alike, and believes NA remain small, safe and suburban!

Tom Bradley wants to give back to the community that gave so much to him and his family.

A husband, parent, father and homeowner, Tom is one of North Arlington’s most successful high school athletes as he was a 1,000 point scorer at Queen of Peace HS and varsity baseball player who received an athletic scholarship to play at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU).

A coach and volunteer for the better part of ten years, Bradley was recruited to play at the major league level until injuries ended his dream of being a professional baseball player.

Opposing overdevelopment of Ridge Road and the density and traffic that comes with it, John and Tom are concerned about the proliferation of apartment dwellings that could cause of a tale of two North Arlington’s and decimate our long time commitment of retaining our suburban commitment as the first town in Bergen County and not the last down in Hudson County.

Yampaglia and Bradley have a 5-point plan for North Arlington:

  • Stop the overdevelopment schemes that call for the elimination of height restrictions from three to six stories
  • Oppose any effort for additional apartment dwellings on the north side of Ridge Road
  • Protect our seniors and ensure they are not forgotten
  • Retain our suburban values by keeping North Arlington small, safe and suburban
  • Provide open access to our playing fields for children of all ages

The Democratic team of John Yampaglia and Tom Bradley oppose the nepotism of their opponents and the pay hikes they have awarded to themselves and their supporters.

John Yampaglia and Tom Bradley, a new brand of leadership that will offer taxpayers honest, open and two-party government.
