DISGUISED AS A “NEWSLETTER,” JUST A PARTISAN MAILER FOR PRONTI’S FAILING REELECTION EFFORTS!
North Arlington – Is there anything MAGA Mayor Dan Ponti won’t do to get reelected?
Residents today received another taxpayer funded “newsletter” which shamefully promoted Pronti and his council running mates just weeks before the November 3rd General Election where this Bayonne real estate agent is seeking a third term!
According to sources in Borough Hall, the overall cost of both mailings is $25,000, and neither are available online for easy resident access!
This is now the second time in less than six months that tax dollars have been appropriated to politically promote the incumbents for what is really a partisan mailer disguised as government news and information.
The first one had 23 photos of Pronti over 12 pages eating hot dogs and pizza! All paid for by you, the NA homeowner and tenant.
Democratic mayoral candidate John Balwierczak called the expenditure a “personal slap in the face by Pronti to every struggling resident, especially seniors on fixed incomes.”
“Here we are weeks before a critical election and Dan Pronti is using our tax dollars to fuel his campaign. Who authorized such blatant use of tax dollars? Dan Pronti, of course. He has no regard for homeowners or tenants and spends tax dollars to promote himself at will. This can only end with him tossed from office come election day,” offered Balwierczak, himself a lifelong resident and homeowner.
“There is no level low enough he won’t stoop to waste our tax dollars for his partisan political agenda. It is estimated that both “newsletters” cost taxpayers nearly $25,000.”
“Who spends $25,000 of our tax dollars on printed and mailed information when this could have been easily posted online and e-mailed for free? The arrogance of this real estate agent who is in bed with developers and builders fueling his campaign is bad enough. Now he is blatantly using tax dollars to promote himself on our dime. This needs to be referred to the state’s Election Law Enforcement Commission (ELEC) for review,” said Balwierczak.

Republicans locally hold every seat on the Mayor & Council and no Democrat has served since 2019. All seven identify as enthusiastic supporters of President Donald Trump as Pronti himself is referred to as “Maga” Dan.
“What more information does one need to see how little disregard this political hack has for taxpayers, homeowners, working families and seniors? On Election Day we can correct the course of North Arlington once and for all.”
