BOGUS TAXPAYER FUNDED NEWSLETTER NOTHING BUT FREE ADVERTISING FOR “MAGA” MAYOR DAN PRONTI!

BOGUS TAXPAYER FUNDED NEWSLETTER NOTHING BUT FREE ADVERTISING FOR “MAGA” MAYOR DAN PRONTI!

“MAGA” DAN’S PICTURE APPEARS “23” TIMES OVER 12-PAGES!

Did you recently receive your taxpayer funded, 12-page newsletter from Mayor Dan Pronti?

Mailed to every home, the cost to taxpayers was roughly $10,000, information that could have easily been placed online at

http://www.northarlington.org

For free!

That’s right, for free!

So much for protecting tax dollars from these tax & spend liberals disguised as fiscal conservatives!

What was so important that this all-Republican Mayor & Council had to make such an outrageous expenditure?

What information was shared with residents that demanded such a cost?

The headline article was “Dine Around the World in North Arlington” with Pronti shamelessly promoting himself in photo after photo!

From eating pizza to bagels, six (6) pages were dedicated of the twelve to Pronti playing cook courtesy of your tax dollars!

50% of the newsletter content was about Pronti cooking and eating.

Even more embarrassing is that “Maga” Dan had his picture taken a record twenty-three times (23) in this political rag!

Is it a coincidence that “Maga” Dan also happens to be running for reelection this fall?

To abuse the legitimacy of a taxpayer sponsored newsletter that says little or nothing at all?

A newsletter about nothing, except “Maga” Dan!

Just a political mailing designed to promote “Maga” Dan as he seeks another term of office?

Where’s the information on the 2026-27 budget, or the impending tax hike?

How about an explanation about the continuing and unnecessary tax reassessments?

What about information on the overdevelopment of Ridge Road, now a ghost town thanks to Pronti’s failed policies?

To date, there are thirteen (13) empty storefronts on Ridge Road and the latest announcement that Mr. Pasta is closing on June 20th!

And is it a coincidence that Councilwoman Donna Bocchino is propped up with free publicity as she is also running for reelection this year as well with Dan?

The truth is there was no reason for this expenditure just to read “Maga” Dan’s restaurant reviews.

Funny, but there was no mention of his favorite smoothie bar on the Belleville Pike!

No mention of The Peak?

Why not?

Not even a word about his favorite phantom project, senior housing he wants to construct in what many regard a flood zone at River Road!

He did mention his so-called, “free” water fountain that cost $238,800 to install!

This is the arrogance of one-party government in action.

A waste of tax dollars so “Maga” Dan can play food critic courtesy of homeowners bracing for a tax hike on June 11th.

You think explaining the cost of local government, the logic of constant reassessments or the proliferation of more apartments is something North Arlington really wants to talk about?

This kind of unbridled, heavy-handed politics has no place in North Arlington. For the lines of government and partisan politics have been blurred intentionally by this mayor.

We saw the same arrogance on display in Belleville with now “lame duck” Mayor Michael Melham get booted from office by over 1,000 votes on the very issue of overdevelopment and Melham is Pronti’s political advisor and mentor!

No Democrat has served since 2019 and maybe it’s time we had a healthy mix of Democrats & Republicans and restoring responsible two-party government?

John Balwierczak is a lifelong resident. A graduate of NAHS. He’s local. Pronti is from Bayonne. Balwierczak is on our side. Pronti is a part-time mayor and real estate agent who hasn’t seen an apartment project he doesn’t support!

Balwierczak doesn’t accept political donations from out-of-town developers.

Pronti does all the time.

This election we need real change and not more of the same. Maga Dan will have to answer for his impending tax hike since he has no one to blame but himself!

Time to explain these tax reassessments and explosion of more apartments as taxes continue to climb!

One-party rule is great for “Maga” Dan, but what about the rest of us?

Newsletters should be about news, not partisan politics. Trying to disguise politics as “news” is sad and quite frankly insulting to any clear – thinking resident.

This phony newsletter is not the real

news that’s fit to print.

Time for real change NA!
