NORTH ARLINGTON – Campaign endorsements come in all shapes and sizes, and while former New York Jet wide receiver is now wearing the black and gold for the Pittsburgh Steelers, the former Baylor University standout has endorsed 2024 Democratic council hopefuls John Yampaglia and John Balwierczak. Mims was selected by the New York Jets in the second-round of the 2020 NFL draft.
“We’re humbled by Denzel’s support and help. We wish him well in Pittsburgh and look forward to speaking with him when he returns to the area. His support is a moral boost,” noted Yampaglia as well as Balwierczak.
