“FUNDRAISING FRENZY”

“Big Ticket” Fundraiser by Jimmy Bocchino for his “Candidate Daughter” Donna and Council President Mario Karcic!

Some things never change and sometimes things get even worse!

“Little Jimmy” Bocchino, a GOP political insider and retired patronage employee as well as chief fundraiser for local Republicans (see video) is back doing what he does best, selling tickets to high priced, out of town developers and builders who want to transform North Arlington into an extension of Hudson County versus being the first community in Bergen!

Bocchino, who just secured a 23% pay hike thanks to his daughter Donna and Mario Karcic – who are both seeking reelection this year to the Borough Council after awarding themselves hefty pay hikes is now actively soliciting contributors for a “meet and greet” with Mayor Dan Pronti and his two puppet candidates for reelection who vote Pronti’s way 100% of the time!

Like last year the elder Bocchino is running the campaign for his daughter and his wife is the treasurer according to a fundraising letter dated August 15th (image at end).

Republican incumbents Bocchino and Karcic voted “yes” to give Karcic’s nephew a job earlier this year while awarding “Daddy” Bocchino a fat raise with just months on the job as well!

With already $50,000 cash on hand with the North Arlington Republican Club according to state campaign filings, how much money does the local GOP need to win a council race?

“Ridge Road is being transformed before our eyes and rumors tell NA Today that the Italian Villa and Boston Market properties are next on the development chopping block further “urbanizing” North Arlington and erasing our former “small, safe and suburban” narrative here in South Bergen,” offered one longtime observer when asked to comment.

The question then becomes, how many “revolving door” tenants are acceptable to both Karcic and Bocchino?

It looks as though they want to construct not hundreds, but thousands of apartment dwellings of which many could be low income units.”

“The only thing standing in the way of this unbridled and unrestricted population explosion is John Yampaglia and Tom Bradley for Borough Council. If Democrats win, there will be two voices and a real discussion of the issues. If they lose Dan Pronti will continue to ride roughshod over the council and get what he wants, not what taxpayers and homeowners fundamentally oppose. The choice is North Arlington’s to make come November 3rd.”

John Yampaglia and Tom Bradley for Borough Council, keeping NA small, safe and suburban!
