Balwierczak: Calls for moratorium on all apartment construction along Ridge Road.

These images capture the rapid construction of apartment dwellings engineered by MAGA Mayor Dan Pronti, a real estate agent from Bayonne who is seeking a third term.
In contrast, Democrat John Balwierczak is seeking a moratorium on all future apartment construction and said he would replace all Zoning & Planning Board members who support such “urbanization of our community.”
Under Pronti, hundreds of new apartments have been built and are now under construction with no end in sight as our traditional business district has been decimated with empty storefronts and vacancies.
“North Arlington is closed for business under Dan Pronti unless you’re an out-of-town developer or builder funding Pronti’s campaign. I won’t take a penny from these special interests, can my opponent say the same? No way,” offered Balwierczak.
“Pronti won’t debate me because he can’t possibly explain the overdevelopment madness he has created. The random reassessments, the store closures, the raises by Pronti and the rest of the borough council, the outrageous spending on legal fees to his largest political campaign contributor. The madness needs to end. If I’m elected, the current Borough Attorney will be replaced, and legal fees will be scrutinized for transparency and accountability.”
