NA DEMOCRATS AT THE TOP OF THE STRETCH IN QUEST FOR ADDITIONAL SIGNATURES BEFORE THE MARCH 25TH FILING DEADLINE!

Balwierczak & Yampaglia in mad dash to the finish as they maximize voter support in this “Man versus Machine” battle to restore two-party government to North Arlington.

NORTH ARLINGTON – Local council candidates John Balwierczak and John Yampaglia are leaving no stone unturned as they scour the NA community for grass roots support and filing signatures in wake of the impending March 25th filing deadline that will officially make them challengers to embedded GOP incumbents Brian Fitzhenry and Allison Sheedy.

Seen here with petitions in hand, candidate John Yampaglia says the response “remains strong and positive,” as many new residents endorse the notion of a healthy mix of Democrats and Republicans representing both homeowner and tenant. Many were shocked to hear of the 7-0 all-Republican Mayor & Council and some were outraged by that lopsided majority.“This town has plenty of issues. Having one political party is not part of the solution, but part of the problem,” offered Balwierczak, himself a former Republican.

Asked if they have bumped into the incumbents in their door to door canvassing, the answer remains the same. A resounding no.

“Republicans have drifted into this one-company town controlled by outside real estate developers, builders, speculators and other interests. We want to retain our identity and we don’t subscribe to the notion big real estate runs North Arlington and we just live here,” offered the first-time hopeful.“I have lots of respect for many Republicans and I plan to be a consensus builder that seeks reasonable results that taxpayers support.”
