The New Jersey Young Democrats will hold an endorsement party at Cooper’s Riverview in Trenton on Friday, October 9th from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm.

Balwierczak was grateful for their support.

“I’m the youngest candidate on the ballot here in North Arlington during this election cycle, and I plan to be a full-time mayor for working families, especially seniors. I’ll reign in the massive overdevelopment practices of my opponent and that means ending random reassessments as well as keeping North Arlington small, safe, suburban and affordable,” offered the candidate.

Crime and public safety are two major concerns of the challenger:

“The double-homicide shooting on Ridge Road along with a federal drug raid of a former Belleville Pike business mixed up in narcotics is out of character for our values as a community. We have a mayor who barely acknowledged the murders and to this date has refused to comment on the drug raid. This is a retired police officer that is leaving from the back of the line.”

Balwierczak has stated that should he win, he will ask for greater police deployment on Ridge Road, especially on the weekends.

“Instead of promoting forty senior units in a flood zone, he should be working to ensure all residents are truly safe. Crime is spiking on Pronti’s watch,” accused the challenger.
