WAR ZONE ON RIDGE ROAD: TWO SHOT, ONE INJURED!
NORTH ARLINGTON – According to online accounts, apparently two men were shot and one injured at a shooting that took place early evening Sunday at 1 Republic, a bar and restaurant on Ridge Road.
In what is an unprecedented shooting in the history of North Arlington, authorities are asking residents to stay away from this brutal crime scene.
While nothing has been made official, online descriptions of what occurred are claiming two might have been killed.

While the details remain sketchy as to what prompted the violence, local reaction online has described the scene as a “war zone.”
According to online accounts, the suspects had fled the scene in a brown BMW, and possibly what was described as a white van or U-Haul.
As of this writing, the condition of those injured has not been made official and no arrests have been made at this time.
Online reaction was swift by residents who were quick to comment:
“Years ago, the town was small, safe and suburban. Years ago, Ridge Road was filled with shops, etc. and now it’s filled with apartment buildings.”
Other accounts claim three shots were fired, and two individuals were down.
