BALWIERCZAK BACK IN THE SADDLE AGAIN!                                                                                                                      Optimistic, determined, ready to serve, lifelong NA resident mounts underdog contest for mayor in this “David versus Goliath” challenge!

NORTH ARLINGTON – He’s back, and more determined than ever before!

John Balwierczak is a believer and his determination to win is contagious.

“Last year’s results tell me North Arlington is in play. We were outspent 5-1 and beat Pronti in his home district. He’s vulnerable and he knows it. The issues are on my side, be it rolling reassessments, urbanization, density, traffic, lack of parking, overdevelopment or gentrification. Dan Pronti will be held accountable. I don’t give up and more importantly I’ll never give up on North Arlington,” offered the young Turk as he began his door-to-door search for support.

Balwierczak believes that basic communication and resident outreach is non-existent with Pronti in charge.

“There was a raid on a local business last week and where is Pronti? No statement or explanation? People have to search the internet for information. The lack of transparency is awful,” offered the Democratic hopeful.

The business has been apparently closed since the raid.

When it comes to rolling Republican reassessments, where’s the beef?

“These reassessments are unfair and are intentionally maximizing property taxes. This notion by Dan that property taxes are at an all-time low are insulting rhetoric that just destroys what little confidence residents have in this 7-0, all-Republican Mayor and Council.”

“Ten years of all Republicans all the time is too much.”

“Why must people beg for basic public information? Dan claims we got a free water fountain that actually cost $238,000. He engineered a payout to a former library board for $200,000 without uttering a word. What happened? The entire Library Board was appointed by Pronti, yet he is so arrogant he just disregards the public. He thinks this is his town and the rest of us just live here,” noted the NAHS graduate and lifelong resident. “No knock-on Bayonne, but Dan Pronti is not NA blue. He’s a carpetbagger and political boss who has taken the local GOP hostage. I represent responsible two-party government. I was a Republican. I can work with Republicans. The problem is Dan Pronti and his Napoleonic approach to leadership is condescending and insulting. Two terms of Pronti is more than enough.”

Balwierczak will be hosting a fundraiser in May and is delighted to be running with Democrats Dennis Papile and Cengiz “Jim” Sever for Borough Council.

“Both are homeowners. Dennis is a veteran and Jim is a union man. We represent the notion that North Arlington remains small, safe, and suburban. I look forward to an issue-oriented contest where finally Pronti is held accountable for this urbanization and gentrification of North Arlington, the gateway to Bergen County.”
