LOCAL BUSINESS IMPLICATED IN SWEEPING DRUG BUST, 15 KILOS OF FENTANYL, 19 GUNS, 29 ARRESTS!
NORTH ARLINGTON – The business known as North Arlington Peak, located at 258 Belleville Turnpike was part of a far larger federal seizure that included drugs, guns and cash.
The registered agent of the business is one Ikechi “Ike” Anaele, the sole principal on record and serves as its agent and is associated with an address in Hillside, New Jersey.

Fifteen kilos of fentanyl, 19 guns, and more than $160,000 in cash were seized in a sweeping bust of 29 individuals, including Anaele, as reported by The Jersey City Voice.
Sources informed NA Today that Anaele was accused of distributing large quantities of illegal narcotics such as heroin and cocaine and has an extensive criminal past. In an article published in 2017 by The Patch, Newark Police arrested 75 and recovered guns during a drug sweep. Eric Kiefer, a Patch correspondent, reported that Anaele then 35 was charged with CDS possession and distribution. https://patch.com/new-jersey/newarknj/newark-cops-arrest-75-recover-guns-during-drug-sweep
This sad situation was revealed online as it took place as agents stormed the Peak location in this early morning raid last week on April 22nd.
There has been as of this writing no official or public statement by the Pronti Administration regarding the raid. Some online commentary misidentified which business was being raided, and all verifiable sources indicate it was in fact; this LLC known as North Arlington Peak.
Since the raid, the business has been closed to the public, and coverings were installed on the door and window.
John Balwierczak, the Democratic candidate for North Arlington mayor, was highly critical of the lack of communication with the public regarding the raid and details of what actually occurred.
“People have a right to know what’s going on when something like this happens. Look at all the information that has now been disclosed by the media and law enforcement agencies about this individual. Where is the transparency? We deserve better than this,” offered Balwierczak.
Balwierczak was critical of the local media as well for failing to even acknowledge or cover this major news event.
“It is disgraceful of the lack of coverage by those who pretend to cover North Arlington in a serious fashion. People deserve and demand to know the truth.”
On July 18th, of 2024, members of the North Arlington Mayor & Council welcomed this business to the community. This post appeared on Pronti’s mayoral page:

“Should voters give me the opportunity to govern, I’ll make one promise, and that to be sure, good or bad, that the residents remain informed at all times. This is their North Arlington, not mine. Responsible governance demands a mix of Democrats and Republicans. The time for real transparency moving forward is now. You can rely on me to provide that to North Arlington no matter what the circumstances.”
