BRADLEY BOOSTS BASEBALL CAMP FOR NA KIDS!

Longtime recreation advocate, volunteer and Coach Tommy Bradley brought his personal passion back to the diamond this week as he sponsored a free clinic for North Arlington kids interested in the finer points of hitting and fielding.

Sixteen North Arlington Little Leaguers between the ages of 10-12 received great tips and brushed off some of the rust on their game in lieu of the current COVID-19 crisis which has hit America and New Jersey extremely hard in that baseball from the Little League to collegiate level has been cancelled for the 2020 season.

Bradley, a life-long resident and former star athlete at Queen of Peace HS offered his instructional acumen as a coach and former player which included playing baseball at the college level and as a member of the American Legion squad the community formerly sponsored.

Bradley was joined by his two sons as well as local resident John Yampaglia and various local area coaches. Even former Recreation Director Steve Tanelli, now a Bergen County freeholder stopped by to assist in the two-day seminar of sorts.

The kids received personal instruction and all attendees walked away with some new insight into America’s past time as well as a tee-shirt for participating.

Here are some images of the two-day event.

Bradley and Yampaglia are candidates for the North Arlington Borough Council and are running on a platform of keeping North Arlington small, safe and suburban.
