WHAT HAS HAPPEND TO NORTH ARLINGTON ON DAN PRONTI’S WATCH?

Massive overdevelopment, deadly violence, a federal drug raid, vacant storefronts and fat pay raises for the Mayor & Council fuel questions about Republican leadership.

Apartment construction rages, businesses disappear, and murders make headlines!

NORTH ARLINGTON – The North Arlington we once all known and loved has changed for the worse with “MAGA” Mayor Dan Pronti in charge.

For over a decade Republicans have enjoyed complete control, a total monopoly with no oversight or accountability and what has been the results?

Massive overdevelopment and apartment construction along Ridge Road in the hundreds of units.

Two murders on Ridge Road and a federal raid on Belleville Pike with a business mixed up in narcotics that abruptly closed!

The complete decimation of the Ridge Road business district as empty storefronts now litters Ridge Road with MELRAYS closed for nearly two years!

Forty units of senior housing in a flood zone?

Pay hikes for Pronti and the Borough Council for 5 consecutive years as taxes spike out of control through random property reassessments!

And as Pronti avoids a debate as well as the issues, Democratic challenger John Balwierczak continues his intensive campaigning in this final stretch run.

“Pronti has been in charge for a decade. What has he accomplished? His entire time as mayor has been fostering redevelopment like OPUS who he embraced, and now apparently opposes. He awards raises for himself with no public input as it becomes apparent, he wants to take this part-time mayoral position and create a six-figure salary for himself when the current Borough Administrator retires,” offered the lifelong resident and homeowner.

“Property taxes are rising due to Pronti’s reassessments. Massive overdevelopment is killing Ridge Road. The time for real change is now.”

Meet the next Mayor.

Let’s keep North Arlington small, safe, suburban, and affordable.
