North Arlington Democrats host fundraiser for Mayoral candidate, Councilman Mark Yampaglia along with Borough Council running-mates Peter Massa & Josie Papile on Tuesday, June 27th!

NORTH ARLINGTON – The North Arlington Democratic Municipal Committee is hosting a fundraiser on Tuesday, June 26th at La Venere Ristorante from 7 to 9 PM located at 614 Schuyler Avenue, North Arlington.

All proceeds will go to the campaign of Democratic Mayoral candidate and Borough Councilman Mark Yampaglia, a life-long resident and former Public Defender. Yampaglia, a graduate of The Touro School of Law and attorney in private practice is married to his wife Shirley and they are parishioners of Queen of Peace Church.

Yampaglia’s running-mates are former school trustee, board president, councilman and former mayor Peter Massa, a commissioner with the Bergen County Utilities Authority (BCUA) and retired NAPD police officer. Massa is married to his wife Val and they reside on Eighth Street. They are parishioners of Queen of Peace Church and have two adult sons.

Political newcomer and Arlington Boulevard resident Josie Papile is an active apparel executive with Paragon Sports in Manhattan. Josie is a college graduate and serves as the firm’s CFO. Married with children, Josie is making her first run for municipal office.

Municipal Democratic Chairman Nick Antonicello called the ticket “capable, qualified and ready-to-serve.”

“All three of our candidates are college graduates and two have advanced degrees while Josie is an expert in finance. Our ticket is running an aggressive campaign with a positive message to move North Arlington to a better place,” noted the longtime Democratic leader.

The ticket has been endorsed by US Congressman Bill Pascrell (D-9), Bergen County Executive James Tedesco, Bergen County Freeholder Tracy Silna Zur as well as New Jersey Assemblyman Clinton Calabrese (D-36).

Bergen County Democratic Committee Chairman Lou Stellato of Lyndhurst as well as hometown favorite and Bergen County Freeholder Steve Tanelli of North Arlington have endorsed the local Democratic team of Yampaglia, Massa & Papile.

Tickets are $100 per person and can be purchased at the door. Tables are $1000 and checks can be made payable to “The Committee to Elect Yampaglia, Massa & Papile.”
