One Party Government Imbalance

One-party government and a political monopoly is bad news for North Arlington.

Does NA need seven Republicans all saying the same thing, no discussion and no alternative points of view?

A council dominated by one-party, completely isolated from county, state and federal government?

A council that thinks Property Taxes have not risen, and that is dominated by tax and spend members?

A council with the least amount of experience in decades, and determined to add three additional members with zero elective experience?

Responsible, two-party government makes sense to everyone except Dan Pronti. He is obsessed with total control and eliminating all Democrats from North Arlington’s municipal government.

He is asking voters to make North Arlington a one-party town even though Democrats represent the largest bloc of voters after Undeclared residents.

Property Taxes will explode with seven, tax & spend Republicans who pose as conservatives, but want to spend more, tax more and indebt NA to even higher levels.

More disturbing is that these GOP candidates pose as “volunteers” when in fact they are state employees who found their employment through partisan politics and another who is paid for her services.

North Arlington supports a serious balance, a healthy mix of Democrats and Republicans. Why is Mr. Pronti so afraid of that desire by NA voters?

Don’t be fooled by assertions of volunteers and community advocates. Partisan politics is dominating local government in a serious way.

Here comes the new boss, same as the old one.
