CARS BEING REROUTED AT SCHUYLER AVENUE, BUMPER TO BUMPER CONDITIONS!

Many residents feel kept in the dark regarding the details.

NORTH ARLINGTON – In what has been sketchy to say the least, there has been an underground disturbance between PSE&G and the Passaic Valley Water Commission (PVWC) according to local sources.

As of this writing we have no confirmation of the exact situation at hand.

According to communication with area residents, the neighborhood around Roosevelt school this weekend has been described as “hellish.”

Schuyler Avenue has been apparently closed since Thursday evening between Union and Noel Drive, and according to sources there was a “generic” communication from Mayor Dan Pronti regarding this ongoing matter.

According to sources there was a police vehicle in the area as it seems traffic has been driving “aimlessly” as drivers were trying to find a way out of this apparent maze of traffic.

One resident called this morning to beg someone to direct traffic; and she was told “it’s not our job to regulate people’s behavior.”

There’s been shouting, honking, people from outside the neighborhood “moving whatever traffic cones that they see fit to move.”

The information remains vague as of this writing, and NA Today will report any updates or details as they become available.
